Module 4 develops the practical skills needed to manage corrective and preventive action within a laboratory quality management system. Learners distinguish immediate correction, root-cause corrective action, and preventive action; follow the CAPA lifecycle from non-conformance through closure; and create SMART, accountable action plans. The module also covers effectiveness criteria, objective evidence, audit-ready records, risk reassessment, and ISO 15189:2022 alignment. Study slides, templates, diagrams, reflection activities, workplace exercises, knowledge checks, and a scenario-based final assessment support application in laboratory settings.
