Module 2: Non-Conformance Reporting and Initial Response

This 60-minute module covers the immediate actions required when a non-conformance or incident is identified in a laboratory quality setting. Learners will practise protecting patients, samples, staff, and services before beginning an investigation, using a structured approach to containment, initial risk assessment, escalation, and factual documentation. The module includes study materials, scenario-based activities, a 10-question knowledge check, and a final assessment.
